About Dr. Kesecker
Dr. Kesecker is a Recognized Leader in Dental Implants, the All-on-4 Procedure, and Sedation Dentistry.
Dr. Jeffery Kesecker received his Doctor of Dental Surgery from West Virginia University in 2013, where he received the Simon P. Hullihen Award for exhibiting clinical excellence in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. Following dental school, Dr. Kesecker completed a one-year Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery internship at the Oral Surgical Institute in Nashville, TN. He completed specialty training in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at the Denver Health Medical Center and the University of Colorado in Denver, CO. Dr. Kesecker is a board-certified Oral Surgeon through the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons.
Dr. Kesecker’s primary clinical interests include the administration of general anesthesia, dental implant surgery including fixed arch cases, advanced bone grafting surgery, dentoalveolar surgery (removal of wisdom teeth), trauma surgery, and pathology. Dr. Kesecker previously practiced in Denver, CO, and Lynchburg, VA, before purchasing Legacy Surgery in July 2019.
Dr. Kesecker appreciates that most of the patients who are undergoing oral surgery treatment are anxious and frightened. Dr. Kesecker makes an extra effort to provide individualized and compassionate care to all. It has been said that his calming demeanor makes patients feel at ease in the dental chair. When Dr. Kesecker is not in the office, he is spending time with his wife Claire, and daughters, Cora, and Lucy. He also enjoys powerlifting and frequenting the Children’s Museum with his daughters. Dr. Kesecker is a member of the Harrisonburg-Rockingham Rotary and the Harrisonburg Chamber of Commerce. Dr. Kesecker is an avid Mountaineer fan and also enjoys cheering on the JMU dukes!
